Our CAB-O-SIL® PDMS-treated fumed silica improves adhesive performance for use in automotive applications.
Our fumed silica products can provide sag resistance in adhesive beads which increase bond line dimensional stability until cure, as well as add reinforcement to increase cohesive strength. Structural adhesives that benefit from our additives include those used for structural bonding, pressure sensitive adhesives, and elastic bonding and sealing.

CAB-O-SIL® STRUCTURAL TS-720 ADHESIVES FOR EV BATTERY APPLICATIONS
To increase energy density and lower costs, battery pack manufacturers are moving to cell-to-pack designs where individual battery cells are bonded directly into the battery pack.
