For over 60 years, we have been committed to maintaining excellence in all of our business operations while also making a positive impact on our community and setting an industry standard for safety, health and environmental (SH&E) performance.
Operating in Tokyo since 1964, our approximately 40 employees provide sales support for a variety of product lines, including carbon blacks for elastomer reinforcements, specialty carbons, fumed metal oxide, battery materials, inkjet colorants, and aerogel. We have been conducting business in our current office since our relocation in 2006.

Global Sustainability Day 2026
Our team in Tokyo participated in a company-wide Global Sustainability Day, to discuss how our actions impact our future.As part of this work, we conducted a cleanup activity at Odaiba Seaside Park. Through this effort, we helped to raise awareness for environmental conservation while clearing litter from the park.
Tokyo Office Neighborhood Clean-Up
Twelve team members in Tokyo volunteered their time and joined a neighborhood clean-up campaign organized by Minato City, where the office is located.
The effort not only improved the appearance of the streets surrounding the office, but also provided a rewarding opportunity for employees to contribute to their local community. By working together to create a cleaner environment, the team demonstrated our commitment to being a positive neighbor in the communities where we live and work.
ISCC PLUS CERTIFICATION
The Tokyo site is ISCC PLUS certified. ISCC is a globally applicable certification system designed to ensure compliance with ecological and social requirements, greenhouse gas emissions savings and traceability.
