Our Xingtai plant is committed to upholding the highest standards in safety, health and environmental (SH&E) practices, while also striving to make a positive and lasting impact in our local community.
Formed as a joint venture between Cabot (China) Limited and Risun Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2011, we introduced the first ultra-reinforcing carbon blacks to China, elevating the benchmark for the local rubber industry.
Our facility is an SH&E leader in our community. In order to minimize our environmental footprint and improve our energy efficiency, we continually invest in the latest and most advanced technologies for environmental protection and sustainability. Additionally, as a responsible corporate citizen we promote Responsible Care® initiatives throughout our value chain and are dedicated to various social welfare programs in our local community.

World Environment Day
Every year we observe World Environment Day by distributing leaflets, sharing knowledge about existing environmental challenges and answering questions about how citizens can help protect the environment.

Every year, all of our employees participate in a tree planting activity to spread awareness about environmental protection and contribute to a better place to live.

"Gift of Sight" Program
Through our “Gift of Sight” project at the Xingtai Ophthalmic Hospital, we donated RMB 450,000 for surgery expenses for underprivileged cataract patients.
Donation to Local Students
Jeff Zhu, senior vice president and president, Asia Pacific region, presented a scholarship for the next year to 20 unprivileged students from Huining Middle School, which we regularly support.
